About Us

QSC Design was founded in 1988 as Quality Sign Company in Kankakee, Illinois, by my dad, Steve Staniszeski, who had quit his job to pursue the opportunity to be his own boss. Beginning as a one-man, home-based operation, all the work was done by hand with One Shot paints and a toolbox full of brushes. Steve grew the business through his love of the craft and hard work, and like many small, family-run businesses, rooted in quality service. As my father’s reputation as a skilled sign artist and client-driven businessman grew, so did the company.

Along the way the craft of painting signs changed, became technology-driven, and Steve’s company followed suit, changing the name to QSC Design and opening an operations facility in nearby Bradley, Illinois.
Today, QSC is known as a leading provider of cutting-edge large format printing, producing a range of custom commercial graphics products. Recently we’ve added a sales and design office in Chicago’s bustling River West neighborhood to facilitate business in the Chicagoland area.

QSC Design has grown in the past 20 years, but we remain a small family owned and operated company focused on our customers needs. We love what we do and are passionate about helping other small businesses.
